When it comes to kratom, there’s no middle ground – you either love it or hate it, and if you hate it, we can almost guarantee that’s because you haven’t tried it. Obviously, we’re biased, but so are hundreds of thousands of people across the United States (more, if you factor in patients who incorporate Mitragyna speciosa into their life around the world), and we can’t all be wrong, can we?
So Many Benefits of Kratom
- Clear patchy, itchy, and dry skin
- Provide relief for sore and achy muscles
- Improve skin tone and complexion
- Clear blemishes
Does Kratom Soap Work?
The active ingredients in the kratom plant (or Mitragyna speciosa, as it is officially known) are alkaloids. The most prominent of these alkaloids – mitragynine and 7-hydroxymitragynine – interact with opioid receptors in the brain to produce medically beneficial effects similar to those provided by opioid medications. For this interaction to occur, these alkaloids need to pass the blood-brain barrier, where they can be delivered to opioid receptor sites and mimic the action of our own neurotransmitters.
Applied topically (to the skin), there is little chance that a significant percentage of kratom alkaloids would be able to pass through the epidermis and into the bloodstream.
Does this mean that there are no real benefits to using kratom topically? There’s no evidence to prove that it can produce the results stated above. There’s no evidence to the contrary, either, and if marijuana-infused topicals have proven anything, its that there is always a benefit to taking advantage of nature’s healing bounty.

Make Kratom Soap at Home
- 3 cups glycerin (soap base)
- 1 ½ tsps of your favorite essential oils
- ½ tsp dried Irish seaweed oil
- 1-2 tsps kratom powder
- Muffin/Cupcake pan or soap molding tray
First, boil the kratom powder in simmering water for around 15-20 mins, using just enough water to cover the powder (about 1/8 of a cup).
Then, using a double boiler (or a small pot inside a larger pot at least ¼ full of water at a simmer), warm the glycerin until its fluid and runny.
At this point, you can add your favorite oils and the Irish seaweed powder, blending to make sure you properly incorporate all the ingredients — stir continuously to avoid lumps. Pour the mixture into muffin tins or soap forms and allow it to cool for at least 45 minutes before removing from the tray. (If you aren’t using silicone trays, you can line your metal trays with plastic wrap to keep the soap from sticking.)
Whatever therapeutic preferences you’re looking for in your soap, you’ll always find high quality, certified organic and guaranteed authentic kratom powder online from Original Harvest – your best life is only a few clicks away!

The article is so useful. Kratom has active compounds including 7-hydroxymitragynine, and mitragynine. When these compounds are absorbed through the skin, it alleviates anxiety, stress, muscle tension, and helps with chronic pain. such an awesome plant.
